In the Industry 5.0 landscape, additive manufacturing is no longer an isolated process but the beating heart of an integrated digital ecosystem, where innovation is driven by the ability to enable a dialogue between the physical and virtual worlds.

This is where our first challenge begins: digitising the factory of Crea3D srl, our parent company, which specialises in industrial additive manufacturing and 3D printing.

The goal is to provide the model with all data regarding our print farm: the machines on site and the parts produced. The next step is to ensure that all robots servicing the printers can manage them autonomously, pick up parts, verify their quality, and store them in their respective locations.

We envision a fleet of robotic arms, AGVs, and humanoids capable of managing every stage of production. The human role shifts from factory floor management to project management, the organisation of data analysis and optimisation, and quality control.

The model is developed in NVIDIA Omniverse, while the programming and interaction between robots and machines take place on the NVIDIA Isaac Sim™ platform.
